MFM WATCHWORD FOR THE YEAR 2011

For us at the Mountain Of Fire & Miracles Ministries, the year 2011 is OUR YEAR OF DIVINE COMPENSATION AND UNRIVALED UPLIFTING. The scriptural foundation for this is found in the following scriptures:

• 1 Peter 5:10: "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." 
• Mark 10:28-30: "Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life."
• Psalm 126:4-6: "Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." 
• 1 Samuel 2:8: "He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, [and] lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set [them] among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth [are] the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them."

PROPHETIC LOOK AT THE YEAR 2011 

The G.O opened the message by stating that 2011 can otherwise be described as "A Boiling Year." The following thirty (30) message points form the prophetic picture for the year 2011. Ask the Lord to open your understanding as some of these points require divine revelation to understand:

1.         This unfortunately is a year of massive and insane disorder. 

2.         This is a year of satanically inspired and well-orchestrated chaos.

3.         This year is a year, when the animal will pursue the hunter and the horse will begin to climb the rider.

4.         This is a year of unexplainable lawlessness and protests across the nations

5.         This is a year whereby unless there is aggressive intercession and divine intervention, the economy of the world will be shaken and brought down to dust.

6.         Unfortunately, this is a year of the rage of satanic blood bank.

7.         This is a year where there shall be very hot anger from heaven against strange marriages and perverted families.

8.         This is a year of execution of divine judgment against powers behind terrorizing nations and religions

9.         This is a year of national and global disgraceful surprises for the enemies of righteousness and truth

10.       This is a year where a lot of monkeys shall fall down from the trees

11.        This is a year of very harsh geographical and climatic conditions

12.       A year where divinely energized storms shall swallow the wicked

13.       This is a year of judgment for blasphemers.

14.       This is a year where there will be emergence of newer groups carrying out the most gruesome satanic agenda

15.       A year for the emergence of newer technologies to improve lives but also to multiply iniquities

16.       A year of food crises

17.       A year of unimaginable wickedness in high places

18.       A year of evil promotion and evil tolerance

19.       A year of abominable perversion and rebellion

20.      A year that will dramatize Haggai 2:6. "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;"

21. A year that will also dramatize the scripture in Hosea 12:13. "And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved." A year you will need a prophet to lead you in, to sustain you and to lead you out.

22.       Nations supporting sexual perversion and strange marriages will experience the Sodom and Gomorrah kind of punishment

23.       Serious prayers are needed to avert bloody ethnic clashes and destruction

24.       A year that you must always know the mind of God before embarking on anything

25.       A year to really pray against major catastrophic disaster

26.       A year when the almighty will set tables of uncommon blessings for his faithful children

27.       A year when the statement ‘Judgment will start from the house of God’ will be played out in full

28.      A year of uncommon decay in the societal values

29.       A year of exposure and judgment for the bad and ugly in Christianity

30.      A year when deliberate violation of God’s commands will have zero tolerance from heaven

KEYS FOR SURVIVING YEAR 2011

There are two (2) major keys for surviving this year:

1.         Learn to talk to everything: You must understand that everything has ears: This year form the habits of talking to everything. Jesus spoke to trees, mountains, demons and to water. Talk to everything. For example, If it is a headache, talk to it.

2.         Command the Morning: You must learn and begin to practice how to Command the Morning, how to command your day.

CONNECTING TO THE LIFTER OF HEADS

Prayers

Every yoke of backwardness and satanic bus stop, break by fire in the name of Jesus.

I Samuel 2:6-10, Psalm 3:3

God is the lifter of heads, He can lift from the lowest to the highest, He can promote from uncommon to common, He can make complete zero into a hero.

God can usher you into a destiny of honour and glory because He is the lifter of heads.

In Zachariah 1:19 There are powers that will not let go, there is a department called the department of the horn that will not allow heads to be lifted up in the spiritual realm. No matter how the person struggles the powers in the realm will not permit such horn to be lifted up. But with God all things are possible, horn could be lifted up through the Mighty hand of God.

When you are lifted by God, your status, position and realm changes.

What is it to be lifted?

To lift somebody upward

To be given a loud voice of recognition and promotion, if a man lifted you surely a man can demote you, but if God lifted you surely no man can demote you.

Many are riding dead horses and instead to cry unto Almighty God they bought horse whip to beat the dead horse to move or run and come alive.

Pray this prayer: The anointing that will lift up my head, I receive it now! In the name of Jesus

What is the importance of Anointing of divine lifting?

It multiplies and honor.

Isolate and separate you for a breakthrough.

Surest way to greatness.

Makes you acquire divine help that will result in significant placement / promotion and marvelous increase.

What happens when God lifts you?

1. You become great and strong.
2. People want you.
3. You become lifters to others too.
4. You become shining star and pace setter.
5. You become easily acceptable and celebrated.
6. You will possess magnetic attraction.
7. Every step taken by your enemies become your promotion.
8. Tragedy happens to those who are against you.
9. Your scars become your star.
10. Those that reject you shall celebrate you.
11. You will become controversy.

Divine Lifting: is supernatural, it has nothing to do with your family, background, education and ender.

• God promoting you from the rank of men with no rank with men with higher rank.
• From obscure to popularity.
• Miraculous movement for you in lower condition to higher condition.
• Glorious and positive change in your life that enhances your value.
• Waxing exceedingly great through the divine help.
• God making you more powerful.
• Head being lifted up above your enemies; realm of out of reach of your enemies – Psalm 26.
• Lifting from the dust to the throne.
• Making ordinary people great to sit with princess and honorable men.

God wants you to be lifted, you can get the winning vote, tell God you are divinely dissatisfied with your present position.

Solution

Make Him your friend; operate a short account with God.

You must be holy, holiness within and without. It makes you magnetic and useful for God.

Be generous, practice sacrificial giving, go out of your way to be a blessing to others.

You must connect to your destiny, know it, pursue it, never give up, and be at the right place and at the right time. Many came into this world but they never arrive. Ask the Lord to connect you to your destiny. A righteous man in the wrong place is not different from a sinner in the right place; both of them cannot be blessed.

Honesty: Remove falsehood from your life, it keeps you far away from the lifters of your head or those that will bless you.

Deal with the scattering horns.

Divine lifting does not come by chance but by choice. Time for your divine elevation has come, make choice now!

1. Horns of my father’s house, assigned against my lifting up – die in the name of Jesus.
2. Every expectation of the enemy for my life – die in the name of Jesus.
3. Every enemy of my new song you are a joker - die in the name of Jesus.
4. My glory and the lifter of my head, Arise! Manifest your power in my life in the name of Jesus.
5. My Father! Lift up my head in the name of Jesus.
6. Thou power of negative carry over - die in the name of Jesus.

Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya is the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. He holds a first class Honors degree in Microbiology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a Ph.D in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. He is happily married to Pastor Folashade Olukoya and blessed with a son, Elijah Toluwani. In this interview, he reveals a lot about his ministry and journey with the Almighty. At Gen. 2:18 forum recently the couple went down memory lane about their relationship. Excerpts.

Tell us how you started the ministry and how eventually you married your wife?
When I got born again in 1974, one of the principles we were taught which unfortunately is not generally taught these days, is that you must have at least one way by which God speaks to you and that you must be in regular communion with the Lord. In those days, we went for retreats, we prayed, we did dry fasting, and all kinds of spiritual exercises which kept us attuned. I learned to hear from God and after that all other things followed. When God revealed the vision of Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministry, I was in bed and I heard this voice like a rolling thunder, speaking by the door.

I ran to the door , because our church did not teach us how to hear from God. I didn’t know who was talking, I didn’t see anybody at the door. I ran back to my bed. The second time, I now heard a voice which said, “Son, remember Samuel…”. I went back to bed again and then God spoke about Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries. This is why we try to teach young people how to hear from God. When you know how to hear from God, your progress begins. You don’t make terrible mistakes.

If there’s one thing I really thank God for, it’s the ability to hear what he has to say to me. By my calling, I don’t need to go to the mountain to pray or hide in a corner to pray , before I know what God is saying. That did not happen suddenly. It happened as a result of building-up, praying and consecration. When I was in secondary school, I didn’t have a girlfriend. I was not interested. I read more of my books and I served God. I didn’t do random sampling trying this and trying that. I just relied on God rest assured that when the time comes, He would show me whom to marry. That was how it was until I met her. I met her in the course of my ministration. She was a chorister in another church I was invited to minister. It was the first time I met her and nothing happened then.

Were you attracted to her when you saw her ministering in the choir?

Let me simplify it. The first time I met my wonderful wife was when she was singing as a member of a choir in a church I was invited to minister . That was how I got to know her. Later, I was in a place called Tresting. It’s somewhere on the mountains in Italy. I went there for a conference. One night too, as I was saying my prayers I prayed about marriage.

I asked God for a woman who would want to work and fit into what God wanted me to do and the Lord brought her image. I wasn’t sleeping o. It wasn’t a dream, and God said “this is the woman”. Again, I prayed three times and got the same answer “ this is the woman”. That was my first testimony. My father , who was a pastor also prayed. He had never seen her, but when he visited Lagos and saw her for the first time, he said “… this is the woman I saw too”. It’s not a question of I feel led, or I think so, I heard and I saw before I took a step.

Wife’s account
When G.O came, did he quote the scriptures or did he say I love you? What exactly did he say?
When I first met my husband, I was a chorister. I was very inexperienced and all I knew was to serve my God. I was brought up that way. He was then a music director who came to our church to improve the performance of the choir . We used to call him brother Daniel. There was really nothing on my mind than we had a nice brother who was coming to teach us in the choir. He was down to earth and straightforward. Anytime he came we enjoyed his teaching. We always wanted him around because we learned a lot from him; more than the songs he taught us.

At a time, he had to go overseas in pursuit of his education. He went for his doctorate then. We didn’t know much about that. We were young and just coming to church. We expected him to come, but he didn’t and we learned later that he had traveled. It was like a little child eating a nice piece of cake and somebody came from the blues, snatched away the cake.

At a time, he now came to the church, not as a music director but as a preacher. That was the time he met me. I met him when he was a music director he met me when he was a preacher. Bro Daniel returned to the country , but now as a firebrand. We wanted to grow in the Lord. We always wanted to learn from him. He had that pleasant aura, just magnetizing people to the knowledge of God. I was even invited to the fellowship then in the house. We prayed and I had to leave again to pursue my education. I was far away in Ife. On one of his visits, I think he was going to Ondo town then. I think at that time he had received the vision. I hadn’t received anything then. I was just living my normal life I think, but he proposed to me before I left for Ife.

What was it like as he proposed to you?

It was like he was maybe prophesying or speaking in tongues. It wasn’t the kind of language you would expect from young people… you know something like, I’m in love with you. That day, he called me and we were in a small room where we normally had our fellowship. He used to do his counseling there too. I was thinking within me when I heard he wanted to see me and I wondered oh my God, have I done anything wrong? What has the man of God got to say to me today?

I was on dry fasting as well trying to see a man of God. In preparation for that visit, I was praying and wondered oh God, what is this meeting all about? And he said to me “simple”. Just as he writes his books, he’s a man of not too many words but action backed up by the power of God. I’m not praising anyone , but I’m saying the truth from the bottom of my heart. That day, he talked to me and he said, “God is laying it in my heart that you are my wife. Simple”. It was like I was in another planet trying to come back. Before I said anything, he just said to me, “you have enough time, you go and pray”. I had to leave for Ife then.

When he visited, it was like an inquiry about what went on after the appointment. The result of my prayer and things like that. When I got to Ife, it was like God prepared that place for me to have a personal encounter on the issue. To me, it was a matter of life and death, because of our Christian background . We prayed over everything, committed everything into Gods hands. We didn’t do anything without hearing from God. For the first time in my life, we did marathon fasting. I fasted for 3 days just to ensure that I was getting it right.

Just to get a yes or no. While I was praying, I had the idea of having a very pleasant marriage and a man I can call my brother, my friend. True love comes from the heart . I prayed to the Lord that I didn’t want deceit, I didn’t want to make a mistake. I wanted a happy marriage and God confirmed his word. God confirmed it by showing a revelation to me . As an artist , I was able to do a sketch for my own future reference. God showed him to me. I was actually presented to him. That was when I knew God had a hand in it. I was not really matured enough to say I heard God’s voice . God gave me that revelation and gave me witnesses as well to back it up. I prayed to God and I was happy. I had peace within me and I could see the future becoming bright.

I was confident that I was doing the right thing. I told him what the result of my prayers was and he asked when was my next birthday. I told him and he said to me, you share the same birthday with me. The relationship was not based on maybe because we shared the same birthday. We actually knew about that at that point in time. It made the relationship even more special to me and from there we started. We attended prayer meetings together. At first, we were meeting on Tuesdays . Then he gave me topics to talk about .He was a very good moderator, and he gave me just10 minutes to speak on a particular topic. We discussed and we prayed together. We enjoyed every bit of our courtship.

How long was the courtship? Were you tempted to indulge in pre-marital sex?
Pastor Olukoya:

The courtship lasted about a year and a few months. Like I told you, before I got born again in 1974 the Lord had been helping me. I never got into trouble like other people did.. So, the question of temptation did not come in a way that most people talk about temptation now. When we meet, we are meeting on purpose to study the word, discuss and go.

As a man of God, how many women in your congregation want to have a relationship with you?
The bible says flee from all appearances of evil. The best thing is to flee and not wait. Don’t wait for it to develop.
